I've been really busy. Both in daily life and within my mind. I've decided not to start my PhD in September but instead go back out to Malawi, or maybe go and try out other African countries...Kenya, Tanzania, Botswana, mozambique. I also want to explore the world more. Education is no doubt my passion, but I can't help but think that if i'm not out in the field helping and working with the people that always touch my heart I just wont be being true to myslef.
But until then I have spent the last few hundred pounds that i had saved in my bank account and booked a trip to South America which will last three weeks and involve hoping from one country to another. I'll be going in June starting my trip in Mexico, then making my way down to Venezuela, brazil, bolivia, paraguay, Argentina, Chile, peru and then up to Costa Rica from where I'll fly to Detroit to spend a week with my aunt and cousins and then head back to London to finish off my Masters dissertation.
This trip is what is keeping me from getting up and running around screaming out of stress through the soas library. I have an essay to do, plus revision. Begs the question, what am i doing blogging?!
So I'm off, books to read, essays to write...and fags to smoke (i've cut down though...and its saving me pennies!)

Peace out!
