The love of presentations, the feminist dying, and ciggy breaks

I thought I should write. And so I’m writing. Been settling into the world of study and its magnificent. I have a presentation next week so I’m at the library slaving away, reading book after book and then knuckling down and typing away until my brain becomes empty. And then reading some more, and then typing away. Its still in its infancy – the presentation, but its turning out well. I love presentations, I love it when people ask me things that I wasn’t prepared for and have to think quickly on my feet. My brain cells love me when they go into overload!!!

Anyway, this post is basically a breather and an acknowledgment to myself that I have managed to get onto the SOAS network! And all on my lonesome! O.K I lie I was in fact helped by Andy – the guy who was sitting next to me reading through a Politics of Development study pack. I don’t know the guy but after I attempted to follow the instructions given I leaned over to him and asked him to help. I hate to admit it but sometimes you need a man…YIKES! I can’t believe I just wrote that! The feminist in me has just died a little!!!

The library seems to be falling still. Its nice. I think I’m going to return to my reading…for another two hours perhaps, or until Mimi, who is somewhere up on the top floor doing her reading, comes and finds me. Ah speak of the devil, she wants a smoking companion!

And publish post!
